CFA Society Italy relies on its members to fulfill its mission and we hope you’ll consider applying your particular talents and expertise as a volunteer.

  • You can bring your expertise in one of our committee driving the initiatives our local society.
  • You may be part of our special initiatives giving your contribution to our publications.
  • You can be an ambassador for CFASI within your employee promoting the CFA program and being the entry point for your HR department as well as a mentor for Candidates and new CFA Charterholders.
  • Advocacy Committee

    The Advocacy Committee supports fair and transparent financial markets and practices, protecting the interests of investors. Working group on EU Retail Investment Strategy.

    Estimated time required Variable, depending on the shared goals
    Commitment Partecipation to a working group and wishing to share know-how on issues related to the implementation of the EU Retail Investment Strategy, with the objective of developing position papers and participating in consultations with regulators.

  • ESG Committee

    Partecipation to an ESG committee within CFA Society Italy

    Number of volunteers required 10
    Estimated time required Variable depending on the contribution
    Commitment We are setting up an ESG Committee which can bring together CFA members with proved ESG knowledge in order to contribute to tought leadership papers as well as defining (or actively participating) the program of a new ESG course for investment professional in collaboration with Universities.

  • Volunteers for papers

    CFA Society Italy is looking for members who are interested in sharing their knowledge and experience writing paper and guides on the different investment topics.

    Estimated time required Variable, you will contribute with an indicative piece of 5/10 pages
    Commitment You may decide to give a specific contribution for a single chapter or theme. Usually the drafting may take 3/4 months but the actual time spent by the single author is limited to the writing of the single article. You may decide to apply for a coordinator role, in which case the commitment is much close to 4 months.

  • Communication Committee

    The Communication Committee enhances awareness of CFA Institute and CFA Society Italy among members, employers, regulators, and Italian financial professionals. The committee works to increase awareness of CFA Society Italy benefits and initiatives among our members, and coordinates the different communication channels (including PR agency). The committee select new initiatives (online and offline) to increase brand awareness as well as defining the a media and communication plans. We are looking for members with innovative ideas and marketing skills in order to help the committee increase our brand awareness.

    Number of volunteers required 2
    Estimated time required 2-4 hours/month
    Commitment Yearly term. Meeting occur every two months, can be in-person or conference call. Main activity is done remotely. You can select a specific focus, where you think you may give your best contribution (i.e. Social Media, Press, Branding initiatives)

  • Programming Committee

    The Programming Committee helps members enhance their investment knowledge, professional practices, career development and professional networks. The committee plans and executes approximately one to two events per month that provide opportunities for networking, professional education, career development and/or technical training with the goal of achieving the recommended 20 continuing education credits every year. We are looking for members with innovative ideas and organizational skills in order to help the committee define our next events and initiatives.
