Strategic committees

The Advocacy Committee speaks up about ethics, trust, and professional standards; supports fair and transparent financial markets and practices; and protects the interests of investors. We support societies, leaders, and other volunteers in communicating with members about advocacy initiatives, policy positions, and the Future of Finance. The Advocacy Committee reaches out to local industry groups, policymakers, media, and investors.

co-chair: Marcella Pasi, CFA and Monica Romanin, CFA

The Programming Committee helps members enhance their investment knowledge, professional practices, career development, and professional networks. The committee plans and executes approximately one to two events per month that provide opportunities for networking, professional education, career development, and/or technical training with the aim of achieving the recommended 20 continuing education credits every year. Committee members recruit thought leaders and prominent practitioners as speakers, and create and deliver events of interest to members.

chair: Matteo Riccardi, CFA

The Communication Committee enhances awareness of CFA Institute and CFA Society Italy among members, employers, regulators, and Italian financial professionals. The committee works to increase awareness of CFA Society Italy benefits and initiatives among our members, and coordinates the different communication channels (including PR agency).

The Membership Committee focuses on member recruitment, engagement, and retention, and evaluates the overall member experience. The committee develops and implements strategies to recruit, engage, and retain members.

This committee also makes itself available to current and potential members with questions regarding education as they pertain to CFA Institute and the CFA® charterholder designation.
