Strategic committees
Advocacy
The Advocacy Committee speaks up about ethics, trust, and professional standards; supports fair and transparent financial markets and practices and protects the interests of investors. The Committee supports societies, leaders, and other volunteers in communicating with members about advocacy initiatives, policy positions, and the future of finance. The Advocacy Committee reaches out to local industry groups, policymakers, media, and investors.
ESG CHAPTER
The ESG Chapter presents CFA Society Italy and CFA Institute view on ESG themes, promoting the adoption of ESG metrics for investments among the financial community. Talking about ESG also means talking about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) which is critical to the future of the investment management industry. An inclusive environment ensures equitable access to resources and opportunities for all. An inclusive culture that leverages diverse views will be an important element in determining a firm's success.

Programming
The Programming Committee helps members enhance their investment knowledge, professional practices, career development, and professional networks. The committee plans and executes approximately one to two events per month that provide opportunities for networking, professional education, career development, and/or technical training with the aim of achieving the recommended 20 continuing education credits every year. Committee members recruit thought leaders and prominent practitioners as speakers, and create and deliver events of interest to members.

Communication
The Communication Committee enhances awareness of CFA Institute and CFA Society Italy among members, employers, regulators, and Italian financial professionals. The committee works to increase awareness of CFA Society Italy benefits and initiatives among our members, and coordinates the different communication channels (including PR agency).

Membership
The Membership Committee focuses on member recruitment, engagement and retention, and evaluates the overall member experience. The committee develops and implements strategies to recruit, engage, and retain members. This committee also makes itself available to current and potential members with questions regarding education as they pertain to CFA Institute and the CFA® charterholder designation.

Professional Learning
The Professional Learning Committee facilitates learning opportunities for CFA® candidates and finance universities students in Italy. It oversees the CFA Candidate Information Briefings, Mock Exams and Scholarship Programs. This committee also makes itself available to current and potential members with questions regarding education as they pertain to CFA Institute and the CFA® charterholder designation.

University Relations
The University Relations Committee interacts with universities, students and the investment community. It facilitates learning opportunities for CFA® candidates and universities of finance students in Italy. Its volunteers present and promote the CFA® Program to local universities and manage the CFA Institute Research Challenge for CFA Society Italy. University Ambassadors collaborate under the University Relations Committee and are informed investment professionals who engage in outreach to raise the profile of and expand dialogue about Research Foundation publications and events.
Fund Management Challenge (FMC)
The FMC chapter is responsible for delivering the annual Fund Management Challenge and maintaining the relationship with the universities involved in this project and the FMC sponsors. The final objective of the committee is to create a multinational FMC competition.
