The monthly “CFA Society Italy – Radiocor Financial Business Survey & Sentiment Index” is the result of interviews to Italian financial professionals who are members of CFA Society Italy.
Calculated since December 2014, the interviews are carried out during the last ten days of each month and the results are published on Italian newswires and media at the beginning of the following month. The Survey presents the expectations of top decision-makers in the Italian financial community on key macro-economic variables (economic growth, inflation, interest rates, equity markets, currencies and oil prices), with a six-month horizon, for the Italian economy, the Euro area and the United States.
In particular, the “CFA Society Italy – Radiocor Sentiment Index” is the synthesis of the views of the Society’s Members on the expected economic growth for our Country, in the following six months. The index is calculated as the difference between the proportion of positive views vs. negative ones, expressed in the Survey.
The “Sentiment Index” time-series, published from January 2015, has shown a significant correlation with other macro-economic surveys and variables.
The survey is performed in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor.
