Thirty-two (32) members of CFA Society Italy attended the June survey, carried out by CFA Society Italy in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor between 19 and 31 May 2023. More than half of the participants consider the current economic situation of our Country to be stable while about 33% have negative views on the Italian economy (data slightly improved in comparisaon with the previous survey).
In terms of expectations over the next six months, 20.8% of the interviewee expect an improvement in macroeconomic conditions (up 17 points compared to the prvious month), the same percentage of the interviwed memebrs estimate unchanged conditions (-17% compared to the last survey) and 58.3% expect a worsening (unchanged from the previous month). The difference between those who are optimistic about the prospects of the Italian economy compared to the pessimists it is equal to -37.5, a value that represents the “CFA Society Italy - Radiocor Sentiment Index” for the month of June 2023. The figure, while remaining negative, goes up by approximately 19 points compared to the previous survey.
