Thirty-four (34) members of CFA Society Italy attended the survey, carried out by CFA Society Italy in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor between 20 and 31 July 2023.
62.5% of the professionals attending the survey consider the current economic situation of our Country to be stable while about 25% have negative views on the Italian economy; the remaining 12.5% predicts a positive situation.
In terms of expectations over the next six months, 25% of the interviewees expect an improvement in macroeconomic conditions (+15 points compared to the previous month), 33% of the interviewed members estimate unchanged conditions (-1.7% compared to the last survey) and 41.7% expect a worsening (-13.3 points compared to the previous month). The difference between those who are optimistic about the prospects of the Italian economy compared to the pessimists is equal to - 16.7, a value that represents the “CFA Society Italy - Radiocor Sentiment Index” for the month of August 2023. The figure continues to remain negative, although improving by 28.3 points compared to last month.
