Life as an active credit portfolio manager is more vibrant than ever. With the end of the low/negative rates environment, investors have returned to bonds, yet the challenges of crafting and executing an effective fixed income investment strategy still hold true.

We will dive into the day-to-day of an investment manager, exploring what it is like to manage credit portfolios for institutional investors within an established independent Italian Asset Management company and you will hear some advice tips to shape your career as a credit portfolio manager in today’s industry.

Andrea is responsible for ETF and Index Fund sales at Credit Suisse, part of UBS Group. With over a decade of experience in investment management and sales, Andrea has worked in both Italy and Switzerland. Andrea is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University.

Federico is Head of Credit at Quaestio and Lead Portfolio Manager of Quaestio Global Enhanced Cash and Quaestio European High Yield Bond. Federico has more than 16 years of experience in fixed income investments and credit markets as a portfolio manager and trader at Inter Fund Management SA (Ikea Group). He previously worked at Treetop Asset Management SA. Federico holds a degree in Economics from the University of Pavia. He is a CFA Charterholder.
