Giancarlo Sandrin is President of CFA Society Italy since 2016 and he is responsible for LGIM’s Italian Wholesale & Retail market. He joined LGIM in 2018 from BlackRock where he held the title of Head of Asset Manager Clients for iShares Italy and was responsible for developing the ETF business among the Italian wholesale market. Prior to that, he was part of HSBC investments covering the Italian wholesale market. Giancarlo graduated from Bocconi University in Economics and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Christel Rendu de Lint è entrata in UPB nel novembre del 2007 in qualità di responsabile del team Global and Absolute Return Fixed Income a Ginevra. In precedenza ha lavorato quattro anni in Pictet Asset Management, dove si è occupata di fondi obbligazionari governativi in euro e della gestione dei mandati aggregati in euro. Prima ancora ha trascorso tre anni in Morgan Stanley a Londra, dove ha svolto il ruolo di economista per l’Europa e responsabile dell’analisi del ciclo economico dell’Eurozona, prima di diventare capo-economista per il Regno Unito. Inoltre, ha lavorato per il Fondo monetario internazionale e il Ministero del Tesoro britannico. Christel Rendu de Lint ha ottenuto un master in Economia e finanza all’Università di San Gallo e il PhD in Economia alla London Business School. Ha pubblicato numerosi articoli su diverse riviste accademiche.

Norman Villamin ha iniziato a collaborare con UBP nel novembre del 2015 assumendo la Direzione della divisione Investment Services, Treasury & Trading di UBP Zurigo. Nel 2016 è stato nominato Chief Investment Officer (CIO) del Private Banking. Ha maturato oltre vent’anni di esperienza nella gestione patrimoniale con mandati di consulenza e discrezionali. In precedenza è stato Chief Investment Officier per Coutts International, ha diretto il settore analisi e consulenza degli investimenti presso Citi Private Bank per l’area del Pacifico asiatico, è stato capo della ricerca dell’area Pacifico asiatico per HSBC e della strategia nella stessa area geografica per Morgan Stanley, con sedi a Hong Kong e Singapore. Norman Villamin ha conseguito la laurea in Business Administration presso l’Università del Michigan e il master in Business Administration all’Università di Chicago.

She graduated in Statistical and Economic Sciences at the University La Sapienza (Rome).

Antonio Cesarano graduated in Economics at LUISS, and started his career at Mps in 1996 as market maker on the main European government bonds. He was then appointed Head of Market Strategy at Mps Capital Services and responsible for the advisory service of the Weath Mangement division at Banca Mps. His experience includes the implementation and coordination of forex, interest rate and commodities market strategies. His team performed among the best world forecasters on exchange rates in the last 10 years. He collaborated with the most important financial media such as il Sole 24 Ore, La Repubblica, Milano Finanza, Radio 24, Rainews. In 2015 he was coauthor of the book “La gestione del commodity price risks. Il punto di vista della supply chain”, Franco Angeli Editore. Today, Antonio is Chief Global Strategist at Intermonte SIM, supervising and formulating macro level market strategies, with particular attention on exchange rates, currencies and commodities.

From 2009 Andrea Mariani is General Director of Pegaso, pension fund for public utilities sector employees, based in Rome, Italy. In this function, Andrea supports board of trustee in financial decision process and he is responsible for portfolio monitoring. Andrea has over 19 years of experience in the pension fund sector. Prior to joining Pegaso in 2009, he worked at Mefop, a company for pension fund market development, owned by Ministry of the Treasury and 80 pension funds. For over 9 years he worked on various projects for pension funds, like annuities provider selection process for Italian Pension Fund Association (Assofondipensione). He graduated in Statistics from the University of Rome .

Federico Santi focuses on the Eurozone and in particular Europe's southern periphery countries, with a particular emphasis on the political economy of the sovereign debt crisis and Eurozone economic governance. Prior to working at Eurasia Group, Federico worked as a research assistant to an economist affiliated with the National Bureau of Economic Research. Earlier in his career, he worked at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the European External Action Service, and the US Senate. Federico holds a master's degree in international affairs and economics from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in international studies from the University of Bologna, and is fluent in Italian, Spanish and French.

Daniele joined the International Financial Service department of BNL in September 2017 as Responsible of Investment Solutions and is involved in advisory and network support. He graduated in Management Engineering at Università La Sapienza Roma and started his career in finance at Banca Finnat, first as equity, then as bond portfolio manager. Later he became investment strategist at ALM division of Poste Vita with the responsibility on capital market assumption and development of the macroeconomic outlook. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2014 and was soon involved by CFA Society Italy in the activities of the Society for Central and Southern Italy.

After over 20 years of experience in the private sector, from 2011 to 2018 Roberto Basso has been working for Italian government. He has been spokesman and Director of Communication for the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and President of Consip, the centre fo public adiministration purchase function. He published many books including “Sindaci imprenditori”, dealing with the differences in managerial culture between the public and the private sector. “L’economia percepita. Dati informazione e consenso nell’era digitale”, written in collaboration with Dino Pesole, is going to be published in the near future by Donzelli Editore.
