Moody’s will discuss the current market trends in private credit in Europe. Private credit is non-bank lending. Until recently, loans were principally to private-equity-owned, middle-market companies. Driven by growing institutional investor demand for long-duration, high-yielding and high-quality investments, private credit has expanded into real estate debt, infrastructure debt and asset-based finance (ABF). The size and scope of the global private credit markets will continue to grow rapidly in 2025, led by the US and Europe. Global private credit assets under management (AUM) will jump to $3 trillion by 2028, reflecting greater momentum than in the past two years.

Her portfolio covers a diverse range of European high-yield and leveraged finance credits. Donatella joined Moody’s in December 2013. Donatella has more than 20 years of leveraged finance and credit analysis experience.

Ernesto Bisagno is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Ernesto is of the senior analysts covering Telecom, Media and Technology across the EMEA region. Ernesto joined Moody’s in June 2014 with an extensive professional experience in risk management and credit analysis in several leading financial institutions in the UK and Italy, including Citigroup and UBS where he covered energy, metals, mining and chemicals across Western Europe and the UK. Ernesto was also a senior auditor with PWC earlier in his career. Ernesto holds an Economics degree from Università degli Studi di Genova and is also a CFA Charter Holder.

CFA, Vice President - Senior Analyst, Moody's

Elise Savoye, currently serving as Vice President - Senior Analyst at Moody's, brings nearly 20 years of experience in credit analysis, with expertise spanning a wide range of issuers. She oversees the analysis of issuers in the European Real Estate and leisure industries. Elise began her career at Moody's in the Structured Finance Group, rating Obbligazioni Bancarie Garantite (OBG) and Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) transactions. She was later responsible of a portfolio of public entities such as French and Italian regions. Elise holds a Master's Degree in Finance from Dauphine University (Paris) , a Post-Master's Degree in Finance and Tax System from Sorbonne University (Paris), and is a CFA charterholder.
