Thirty-eight respondents of the Italian Society members took part in this month Financial Business Survey, carried out by CFA Society Italy in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore - Radiocor. About 54% of the participants believe the current situation of the Italian economy to be stable, 38% see the Italian economy positively while only about 8% believe the current situation to be negative.
In terms of prospects for the next six months, 51.4% of respondents expect an improvement in macroeconomic conditions (+ 2.8% compared to last month), 37.8% see conditions unchanged (+ 3.6% compared to July ) while 10.8% expect a worsening (-6.3% compared to last month).
The difference between those who are optimistic about the prospects of the Italian economy and the pessimists is equal to +40.5, a value that represents the "CFA Society Italy - Radiocor Sentiment Index" for the month of October 2021. The figure rises again by about 9 points compared to the beginning of September, at the highest values since the end of 2020.
