The March 2021 Financial Business Survey, carried out by CFA Society Italy in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor, was carried out among 41 members of the Italian Society, between 18 and 28 February 2021.
In terms of expectations over the next six months, 61% of the interviewees expect an improvement in macroeconomic conditions (-1.8% compared to December), about 27% expect unchanged conditions (approximately + 8% compared to February) while the 12.2% expect a worsening (-6.4% compared to last month).
The difference between those who are optimistic about the prospects of the Italian economy, compared to the pessimists, rises further by about four percentage points to +48.8, a value that represents the "CFA Society Italy - Radiocor Sentiment Index" for the month of March 2021. The data marks a new relative high and is positioned on levels reached in the past only at the beginning of 2016.
