Collaborative Women in Investment Management (CWIM), the global alliance of CFA Societies, FPA Chapters and industry groups who have joined efforts to further a shared vision of inclusion and diversity in capitalism, has recently published a conversation with Valentina Valdameri, CFA, within the CWIM Ambassador programme which includes people with finance and investment background who support the Alliance’s ambition of CWIM to accelerate diversity and inclusion in our sector. They advocate inclusion and offer their time and expertise to support CWIM’s activities.
Valentina Valdameri, CFA is a Senior Business Development Manager at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) where she works with both institutional and wholesale clients. She previously worked as a Senior Sales Manager at Fidelity International. Valentina is also Secretary of the Board of Directors at CFA Society Italy. She enjoys supporting CFA candidates and other junior members to help foster their development.
Valentina was asked why she likes to be a member of CWIM? She answered that she "feels like each member of the community is there to make women feel like they were exactly where they were supposed to be.
