The monthly survey, carried out by CFA Society Italy in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor, was attended by 41 CFA professionals and members of the Society between 19 and 31 October, 2020. The resulting "Sentiment Index" decreases by 14 points approximately if compared to the previous month, reaching +2.4.
About 71% of the participants consider the current situation of the Italian economy to be negative, a stable value compared to the previous survey. In terms of expectations over the next six months, the percentage of those who expect an improvement in macroeconomic conditions compared to the current ones (34.1% of the total) decreases by nine points approximately, while a similar percentage foresees unchanged conditions.The percentage of those expecting a deterioration increases by 5 points (31.7% of the total).
