At this event organised by CFA Society Italy together with UBS and STOXX, portfolio managers and indices providers will highlight the difference as well as similiraties both for active and passive strategies, in particular in terms of impact investing, as well as how Alternative Investments can also evalutate sustainability when picking up projects.

Willem John Keogh is Director - Senior Product Development Manager at STOXX Ltd. In this role, Willem is responsible for the development of innovative index concepts across all asset classes. Prior to joining STOXX Ltd. in 2015, Willem spent more than 10 years as Head of Quantitative and Systematic trading at various Investment Banks. Willem holds a Master of Economics in Finance from the University of Free State/South Africa.

Roxana Isaiu is Director Real Estate for GRESB. Roxana holds an Msc in Corporate Finance and is responsible for the development and implementation of the ESG standards, as well as the benchmarking methodology for the real estate sector. Since joining the company in 2012, Roxana has been working with institutional investors, real estate companies and industry groups to help develop reliable and consistent data collection and analysis tools. In her position, Roxana focuses on the promotion of transparency in the real estate sector through systematic reporting on ESG indicators of performance. She helps shape data quality processes and manages a team to support stakeholder engagement across industry bodies. GRESB is an investor-driven organization that is transforming the way we assess the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of real assets globally, including real estate portfolios and infrastructure assets. Over 70 institutional investors, collectively representing over USD 17 trillion in institutional capital, use GRESB data and analytical tools in their investment management and engagement process, with a clear goal to optimize the risk/return profile of their investments.

Karsten Guettler joined UBS Asset Management (UBS AM) in the Sustainable and Impact Investing team in January 2018. As a Senior Investment Specialist in the Sustainable and Impact Investing team within UBS AM he is responsible for representing the sustainable and impact investing capabilities to clients and prospects as well as developing new, innovative and profitable SI strategies. Prior to joining UBS AM, he worked in the UBS Wealth Management Division, as head of UHNW Sustainable and Impact Investing distribution. In this role he was responsible for advising UHNW and institutional clients on sustainable investing strategies and its implementation in portfolios as well as developing sustainable and impact investing solutions. Before joining UBS in 2011, Karsten worked for Commerzbank of Germany, the Financial Institutions Practice of the Boston Consulting Group, and Credit Suisse. Karsten holds a MSc in Business Administration with a focus in Banking from Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a PhD in Entrepreneurship from RWTH Aachen University.
