Matteo Riccardi

CFA, CIPM, CAIA, FDP, FRM - Vice President & Programming Chair - CFA Society Italy

Matteo Riccardi is member of the Board of CFA Society Italy since 2011 and Vice-President since 2017. He is Chief Investment Officer for the Italian Insurance Group Bipiemme Vita (part of the French Group Covéa) since 2017. He approached the insurance investment management sector in 2004, joining the Italian Business Unit of Zurich Insurance Group, where he worked for 13 years, serving as Chief Investment Officer for Italy from 2014 to 2017 and, before that, as Head of Securities Investment and ALM senior analyst. Prior to this experience, he worked in the Risk Management Department of Eptafund Sgr (now part of Eurizon Capital) in Milan and in Dublin for three years. Matteo graduated from Bocconi University in Finance and Financial Management Services in 1999, he is CFA Charterholder since 2004 and he has also achieved the CIPM, CAIA and FRM designations.

Ernesto Bisagno is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer in Moody’s Corporate Finance Group. Ernesto is of the senior analysts covering Telecom, Media and Technology across the EMEA region. Ernesto joined Moody’s in June 2014 with an extensive professional experience in risk management and credit analysis in several leading financial institutions in the UK and Italy, including Citigroup and UBS where he covered energy, metals, mining and chemicals across Western Europe and the UK. Ernesto was also a senior auditor with PWC earlier in his career. Ernesto holds an Economics degree from Università degli Studi di Genova and is also a CFA Charter Holder.

Senior Vice President - Manager - Moody's Structured Finance Group

Michelangelo Margaria is a Senior Vice President/Manager with Moody’s Structured Finance Group and is based in the Milan office. He acts as Manager of the Consumer Surveillance team in the EMEA region and coordinates the Structured Finance activity in the Italian market. Previously he was a Manager in the RMBS team and a Senior Analyst rating securitisation transactions backed by different asset classes in various EMEA jurisdictions. He is also the author of various Moody’s Special Reports and Rating Methodologies. Before joining Moody’s at the beginning of 2002 Michelangelo Margaria worked in the Structured Credit Group at UBS in London. Mr. Margaria holds a laurea in engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin.
