Giancarlo Sandrin is President of CFA Society Italy since 2016 and he is responsible for LGIM’s Italian Wholesale & Retail market. He joined LGIM in 2018 from BlackRock where he held the title of Head of Asset Manager Clients for iShares Italy and was responsible for developing the ETF business among the Italian wholesale market. Prior to that, he was part of HSBC investments covering the Italian wholesale market. Giancarlo graduated from Bocconi University in Economics and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Head of Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate and Representative on the ECB's Monetary Policy Committee, Bank of Italy

Stefano Siviero is Head of the Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy Directorate of the Bank of Italy (since 2013) and Bank of Italy's representative on the ECB's Monetary Policy Committee (since 2007). He graduated with honors in Economics and Business from the University of Pavia in 1985. He continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA), obtaining an MA in Economics in 1989 and a PhD in Economics in 1995. In 1985-86 he worked briefly as a researcher at the Polytechnic of Milan and at the Banca Commerciale Italiana; in 1989 he joined the Bank of Italy, where he contributed to the development of the quarterly econometric model and the production of macroeconomic forecasts; in 2007 he was appointed Head of the Modelling and Forecasting Division. He has published numerous articles in Italian and international scientific journals, on topics mostly relating to macroeconomic modelling and monetary economics. He has taught statistics, econometrics and international and monetary economics at universities in Italy and abroad.

Daniele joined the International Financial Service department of BNL in September 2017 as Responsible of Investment Solutions and is involved in advisory and network support. He graduated in Management Engineering at Università La Sapienza Roma and started his career in finance at Banca Finnat, first as equity, then as bond portfolio manager. Later he became investment strategist at ALM division of Poste Vita with the responsibility on capital market assumption and development of the macroeconomic outlook. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2014 and was soon involved by CFA Society Italy in the activities of the Society for Central and Southern Italy.

Luigi Gubitosi, nato nel 1961 a Napoli, è Amministratore Delegato, Direttore Generale di Telecom Italia e membro del Comitato strategico. Da maggio 2017 a novembre 2018 Commissario straordinario di Alitalia. Da luglio 2012 ad agosto 2015 Direttore Generale RAI. Da novembre 2011 a luglio 2012 Country manager e responsabile della divisione Corporate and Investment Banking di Bank of America Merrill Lynch Italia. Nel 2005 è entrato in Wind Telecomunicazioni come Chief Financial Officer per poi diventarne Amministratore Delegato dal 2007 al 2011. Dal 1986 al 2005 ha ricoperto diversi ruoli nel Gruppo Fiat: Chief Financial Officer, Direttore Finanza e Responsabile Tesoreria di Gruppo. È stato Presidente del Consiglio di Amministrazione di Fiat Partecipazioni e membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione di Fiat Auto, Ferrari, Iveco, Itedi, Comau e Magneti Marelli. Precedentemente, Luigi Gubitosi è stato Operating Partner di Advent International, Vice Presidente di Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici (CSIT), Vice Presidente di Asstel e membro del Comitato Fisco e Corporate Governance di Confindustria. È stato inoltre membro del Comitato organizzatore delle Olimpiadi di Scacchi di Torino 2006 e del Consiglio di Amministrazione di Cometa (fondo pensione dei lavoratori metalmeccanici), F2i Sgr e Maire Tecnimont. Luigi Gubitosi è docente di Finanza Aziendale presso l’Università LUISS Guido Carli a Roma. Ha ottenuto il master in Business Administration all’I.N.S.E.A.D. di Fontainbleau, dopo la laurea in Giurisprudenza all’Università di Napoli e studi di economia presso la London School of Economics.

Salvatore is the Chief Investment Officer and one of the founding partners of Tages Capital, an asset manager specialized on alternative investments. Before Tages, Salvatore was formerly Head of Portfolio Management within Alpha Strategies at Credit Suisse. While at Credit Suisse, Salvatore also served as Deputy Head of Alpha Strategies and Head of Manager Selection and Strategy Analysis in the Alternative Investments and Mutual Funds Team. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, in 2004, he was a senior hedge fund analyst and a portfolio manager with BSI SA (Generali Group). Salvatore is a CFA and CAIA Charter Holder.

Maria Paola Toschi, Executive Director, is Global Market Strategist for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Maria Paola has over thirty years of experience in top financial institutions and joined the Italian team of J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2008. Before joining J.P. Morgan, she worked as a sell-side equity analyst covering specifically small and mid Italian companies where she was responsible for the Equity Research Department in Banca Leonardo. In Banca IMI, she was responsible of the Industrials Equity Team and in Intesa San Paolo she worked in the Retail and Private Banking Research Team. Maria Paola graduated in Economics at Bocconi University and has been a Member of the Italian Financial Analysts Association (AIAF) since 1989.

David Roberts joined Liontrust in January 2018 from Kames Capital to create the Liontrust Global Fixed Income team with Phil Milburn and Donald Phillips. David is Head of the Global Fixed Income team and is co-manager of Liontrust’s Strategic Bond and Absolute Return Bond strategies. David was previously Head of Fixed Income at Kames Capital where he co-managed Strategic Bond and Investment Grade Bond strategies as well as being in charge of overall team strategy and fund management. In a career that started in 1988, David has also worked at Britannia Investment Managers and the Treasury Department at Lloyds Bank. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1988 with a BA in Economics and Industrial Relations and holds an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling.

As Head of Global Strategy he analyzes the market trends affecting the investment behavior of central banks, sovereign wealth funds and other state-controlled investment institutions and work closely with the investment teams in providing investment advice and developing tailored investment solutions for this client segment Max established himself as a global thought leader on the macroeconomic, financial and political trends in sovereign wealth management. He has often been called in by leading institutions as an expert on global economic and financial matters. Max has recently published The New Economics of Sovereign Wealth Funds in the Wiley Finance Series, a book providing a thorough guide to sovereign wealth funds, covering the drivers of the industry, how it operates and grows, the interest from and in Western markets and the pivotal role that sovereign wealth funds play in the world economy In his sixteen year long international professional career, Max has been Head of governmental affairs for UBS in Europe, Middle East and Africa, EMEA Senior Economist and consultant advising governments and corporates in emerging markets on behalf of international institutions. Max holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome where he lectured and a Msc in Economics from the University of London. He is a member of the Executive Committed of the Asset Management Investment Council (ICMA) and a Fellow at the Centre for International Markets, Money and Regulations at Bocconi University.

Giulio Renzi-Ricci is a senior investment strategist in the Investment Strategy Group, specializing in multi-asset portfolio construction, single fund solutions and econometric forecasting. His research has covered topics on factor investing, active-passive blending, dynamic portfolio optimization and global diversification. He is a member of the Vanguard Asset Allocation working group. Before joining Vanguard, Giulio worked at NERA Economic Consulting where he provided expert analysis on financial derivatives pricing, hedge fund litigation, market efficiency testing and the suitability of trading and investment strategies. Before that, he was a fixed income structuring analyst at Banca IMI in Milan. Giulio holds an MSc in financial economics with distinction from the University of Warwick and a BSc in economics and finance summa cum laude from Bocconi University.
