This event is dedicated to whoever has an interest in learning more about a specific profession within the financial services sector. CFA for Your Profession offers the opportunity to meet senior professionals with first-hand experience in a specific field.
CFA for Your Profession is open to CFA Society Italy Members and Junior Members only.
In a world of low/negative interest rates, high-yield and emerging markets securities have become increasingly popular within the fixed-income space. Return enhancement and potential for diversification have drawn the interest of the investment community, however, superior returns go hand in hand with higher risks and complexity.
Managing a portfolio of high yield and emerging markets bonds poses a number of unique challenges and opportunities, hence we decided to dive into the day-to-day of a portfolio manager with direct exposure to this specific asset class, examining industry trends and focusing on the essential skills to build up a role in this profession.
