The finals of 2021 edition of the CFA Italian Research Challenge will see ten university teams from the best business schools competing for the Italian Championship.
Participants of the competion represent the following Italian Universities: Libera Università di Bolzano, Luiss Guido Carli, Politecnico di Milano, Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Università degli Studi di Firenze, Università di Bologna, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata and Università Politecnica delle Marche.
The analyzed company for this year is ERG, the Italian company operating in the energy field since 1938.
FactSet, a global provider of integrated financial information and analytical applications, supports the challenge by offering its analytical platform to students, professors and mentors.
The teams will present their works to two selected panels of judges on 25 Februrary, for the semi-finals round.
The selected teams will proceed to the finals and present their works to another panel of judges on 1 March.
The Sub-Regional round for Europe, Middle-East and Africa Region will take place during the month of March. After all local competitions have completed, local winners will receive specific instructions for recording their sub-regional presentations. Teams advancing from the sub-regionals to the regional semifinals will be announced at the end of March. The EMEA semi-finals will take place on 13-14 April. The EMEA finals will be held on 20 April. The Global finals will celebrate the global winner on 22 April.
